A professional piano, organ, and keyboard player in the Philadelphia area, Dave Mattock divides his time between playing in several groups, freelancing, and teaching. Dave is a member of the faculty at Camden County College, University of Pennsylvania, and Lafayette College, where he teaches piano, theory, history, and introductory music classes, and has a full studio of private students in the Philadelphia area. He is the owner and founder of the Mattock School of Music in Chadds Ford, PA. When he's not teaching, Dave can be found freelancing around Philadelphia in various solo, duet, and trio jazz gigs, and is the leader of the Tap Room Trio. Dave received his Bachelor's degree in Jazz Performance from Temple University and his Master's degree in Jazz History and Research at Rutgers University.
