Experience America250 at The Rittenhouse

The celebration continues long after the parades end.

From June 25 through July 12, Mary Cassatt Tea Room & Garden presents LiberTea, a limited-time tea experience inspired by the resourceful spirit of the Revolutionary era. Savor house-made Liberty Tea blends crafted with herbs and botanicals once favored by colonists, paired with patriotic pastries and seasonal sweets. Guests looking to toast the occasion can enjoy historically inspired cocktails including A Declaration, a colonial twist on a Tom Collins, and The 13, a spiced Manhattan honoring the original colonies.

For a more restorative way to commemorate the nation’s milestone anniversary, indulge in The Colonial Calm Ritual at The Rittenhouse Spa. This seasonal treatment begins with a signature massage featuring a tranquil body soufflé infused with lavender and chamomile—two botanicals native to the birthplace of America. Afterward, unwind poolside with the exclusive Rittenhouse Stars & Spritz cocktail, crafted exclusively for the occasion.

The Wawa Welcome America festivities culminate with One Philly: Unity Concert for America, the long-awaited Philadelphia 4th of July concert on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Hosted by comedian Wanda Sykes, the evening boasts an impressive lineup including Christina Aguilera, Will Smith, and Philadelphia natives Jill Scott and The Roots.

As the music fades, the parkway settles into a moment of anticipation. Then, the magic happens. The legendary Philadelphia 4th of July fireworks rise into the sky, soaring above the Museum of Art and illuminating the city in true spectacular Philadelphia fashion.
