Music and More at the Made in America Festival

Attention, music lovers: The Made in America Festival will be returning to Philadelphia on Labor Day weekend. Now in its fifth year of showcasing some of the biggest names in the industry, this Jay Z produced, Budweiser sponsored music-and-culture experience will be taking over the Benjamin Franklin Parkway on September 3 and 4, 2016. The parkway is located less than a mile from The Rittenhouse Hotel, making it easy for you to dance, sleep, and repeat during your visit.

This premier event among Philadelphia concerts offers two full days and nights of non-stop performances across three stages. The impressive list of headliners boasts artists spanning several different genres, including Rihanna, Coldplay, Chance the Rapper, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Jamie xx, and other fan favorites curated by Jay Z. Meanwhile, emerging artists plucked straight from the Tidal music streaming service will be hosted on the aptly-named Tidal stage. Jubilant attendees can revel in the opportunity to sing along to well-loved hits while discovering some new playlist-worthy songs from these up-and-coming virtuosos.

A multitude of on-site food and drink vendors will keep you going between sets during this jam-packed weekend. Fill up with classic fairground-style concessions, indulge with a meal from a local gourmet food truck, or grab a drink at one of several beer gardens. Free filtered water stations will be available throughout the parkway, helping lively concert-goers stay hydrated without missing a beat. In addition to these convenient dining options, this cultural festival will also include elements of technology and design, as well as merchandise vendors.

General admission two-day passes are currently available through Ticketmaster. Last year’s Budweiser Made in America was a sold out event with over 64,000 fans in attendance each day, so we recommend securing your 2016 passes as soon as possible. To help plan your weekend, festival organizers have provided a comprehensive FAQ section with pertinent information on accessibility, re-entry policies, prohibited items, and more. Check the official festival website for full details and ongoing updates leading up to the event in September.
