The Rittenhouse Hotel offers a guaranteed check-in time of 3:00pm. Early check-ins are subject to availability at the time of arrival. There is no way to guarantee an early check-in unless the previous night is booked with instructions to pre-register.

Check-out is at 12:00pm. Late check-outs are subject to availability. Failure to vacate your room as scheduled may result in additional late checkout fees up to and including the cost of the subsequent night.

Located on historic Rittenhouse Square, our hotel provides easy access to all center city Philadelphia centers of commerce and points of interest.

We are convenient to the University of Pennsylvania, located one mile away and a 15-minute drive during typical traffic conditions.

30th Street Station is less than one mile from The Rittenhouse, a 15-minute drive or 18-minute walk along pedestrian-friendly route.

We are located 7.6 miles from the Philadelphia Airport, approximately a 30 minute drive.

The Rittenhous Hotel does not offer a shuttle service, but private transportation can be arranged through our Concierge. Taxis and ride sharing services are readily available both at the airport and throughout the city.

We offer overnight valet parking for $70 with unlimited in and out privileges, valid until 6pm on the day of departure and daily valet parking for $32 and $26 daily if validated by our restaurants or spa. Additionally, in our commitment to implement sustainable and innovative practices that benefit the environment, we now also offer electronic vehicle charging stations available with parking. For EV parking, we charge an additional $30 per day of charging ($100 total).

Patrons visiting our restaurants or spa can also receive a $10 discount off the daily parking rate. Patrons must present their receipt from the restaurant or spa for validation.

One of the best pet friendly hotels in Philadelphia, Rittenhouse Hotel allows one pet per person at a rate of $150 per stay.

Please respect the following rules:

Your pet should be housebroken.
Your pet should remain leashed at all times while in public areas.
Please ensure your dog refrains from barking and inconveniencing other guests.
Cats must have their own litter tray.
Pet accidents must be reported immediately to Housekeeping.
While staff are servicing your room, your pet should be with you and out of the room, or securely caged in the room with you present.
Your pet must never be left unattended in your room.
If your plans mean you can't take your pet with you, call our Concierge in good time to arrange pet sitting and walking services.
Please make arrangements regarding your pet at least 48 hours before arrival.

Guests of The Rittenhouse enjoy access to our convenient business center. Even better, our property is located within walking distance of Philadelphia’s business district. For Philadelphia hotels with a business center, it doesn’t get much better.

Yes. The Rittenhouse offers elevated In-Room Dining featuring breakfast, all-day dining, non-alcoholic beverages, wine, beer, a children’s menu, and pet-friendly options.
Breakfast is served from 6:00 AM to 10:45 AM, with all-day dining available from 11:00 AM to 10:45 PM. A 22% service charge, applicable sales tax, and an $8 delivery fee apply. Our full wine list is also available upon request.

Reservations are required for Mary Cassatt Tea Room and can be made via OpenTable. Reservations are strongly suggested for Lacroix; especially for breakfast and Sunday brunch.

Our hotel offers a quarter Olympic-size pool, which is 38 feet by 18 feet in size. The shallow end is four feet deep, and the deep end is seven feet deep.

All are welcome to indulge in our spa and salon with the purchase of a treatment or service.
